Set in bushland surrounding Taronga Zoo, Wild Ropes offers breath-taking views of Sydney Harbour while you enjoy the Australian outdoors. Offering a 90 minute outdoor activity that allows visitors to observe Koalas, Kangaroos, emus and wallabies while they climb through the trees as fly through the air on flying foxes.

An adrenalin filled adventure that's great for families, school groups and team events.

The wildest views of Sydney come to life on Taronga Zoo's new sky high adventure, Wild Ropes. Set in the bushland surrounds of Taronga Zoo and with breath-taking views of Sydney Harbour, this action-packed high ropes course is an excellent way to experience and appreciate the Australian outdoors.

How To Get Here..

Coming by ferry

Taronga Zoo is located 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry. Refer to Sydney Ferries website for a current timetable. If arriving by ferry, please note the Sky Safari is included in your Wild Ropes ticket. Sky Safari opens at 9.30am. Or, if you purchase a Wild Ropes + Zoo same day entry ticket, you may also choose to enter via Taronga Zoo's Lower Entrance, which is a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Please note from the Zoo’s Lower Entrance it takes approximately 15-20  minutes to reach Wild Ropes.

Coming by bus

From the City

The 247 via Military Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo can be caught from Wynyard - Stand A (Carrington St) or QVB Stand D (York St).

From the North

From Chatswood Interchange - Stand J take the 257 via Victoria Ave, Penshurst Street, Willoughby Road, Pacific Highway, Falcon Street and Military Road. Change at Mosman Junction and take the 247 via Military Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo.

From Lower North Shore

From Balmoral Beach, take the 238 from The Esplanade via Raglan Street, Wolseley Road, Middle Head Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo.

From the Northern Beaches

Coming from Manly, Balgowlah, Brookvale, Dee Why or Narrabeen, take a bus to Spit Junction and change for the 247 via Military Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo.

Driving/parking

For those driving, parking is readily available. Entry to the car park is from Bradleys Head Road.
