The brand-new Air + Style Festival in the Domain is a major event on the Sydney calendar. Watch world-class snow-sport athletes fly down a 16-story high ramp right in the heart of the city. Some of the world’s hottest musicians will be joining in, including Snow Patrol and Flo Rida.

As the nights get longer, we want to teach you all about survival in the wild with our Centennial
Parklands Winter events line up.
Join us in a Guinness World Record attempt at our Stargazing Live event. As part of the nation-wide ABC Stargazing Live, we will be hosting a night of starry fun with scientists from CSIRO and a live broadcast of the national event!
Discover everything that goes bump in the night with our Spotlight Prowls. Explore the Parklands by torchlight with our Rangers, and learn all about the amazing nocturnal creatures that only come out when the lights go out.
Learn how to survive the night with our WILD PLAY Campfire Club sessions. A great family event, these sessions will teach you how to collect the resources to make campfires, cook delicious treats and keep out the cold!
The Inside Dig workshop is back by popular demand. Discover how to create your own mini-garden haven with our Horticultural educator, and enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles. Or if you’re just looking for food, then try the Cheese Lovers Festival which will be debuting for the first time in Centennial Park.

This winter the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan have many fascinating events and workshops, which run throughout the day and even into the night. Explore the Garden after dark with our popular Nocturnal Tour or Stars over the Garden astronomy workshop.
Make the most of your visit with our Photo Workshop, and learn to take amazing snaps of the Garden and some of the best photogenic landscapes in South West Sydney. You can become a real pro-photographer with the Post Processing workshop and take away fantastic memories of your visit in pictures.
We have a rare opportunity for you to explore the Garden at night with our popular Nocturnal Tour. Explore a whole new world, where many animals that are rarely seen in everyday life, stand proud. Our wildlife whisperer Tom will help you discover the mysteries of the night by torchlight in an unforgettable adventure.
If the Garden isn’t big enough, then uncover the secrets of the universe in our astronomy workshop. Scientists from the Australian Observatory will join our Aboriginal educators to teach you all about the planets and the cultural stories behind the stars.
If you’re more of a morning lark than a night owl, then don’t worry, we have plenty going on during the day. Our early morning Birdwatcher’s Breakfast will show you just how alive the Garden is with wildlife during the day and night.
