Get Oktoberfested at The Bavarian – throughout Sept/October
The official Oktoberfest at Munich may be toned down this year, and international travel on hold, but that’s not stopping The Bavarian bringing a taste of Oktoberfest to its fans.Throughout October, a limited-edition Oktoberfest chicken schnitzel ($26) will be loaded with sauté potatoes, wurstsalat (sausage salad), pickled onions, mustard dressing and fries.
For bigger appetites, an Oktoberfest feasting menu ($39 per person) is available for the month. The generous menu includes pretzels, The Bavarian’s legendary, golden-crackled pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, a trio of plump German sausages, and the most popular German dish of all: schnitzel, glistening with a golden crumb.
End on a sugar-spice high with häus-made apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.
Say ‘Prost’ with a 1-litre stein of bier. There are seven traditional German biers on tap.
A limited-edition Oktoberfest schnitzel ($26) will be available for the month of October, kicking off a monthly rotation of unique schnitzel variations.
