NeuRA - New Ways to Prevent and Treat Back Pain

When:
Mon 26 Mar 2018

Free, Everyone Welcome.
Details:
Low back pain is the leading worldwide cause of disability, and results in significant personal hardship.

New research shows that there are changes in the brain when someone has pain for a long time, however using this knowledge of the brain and how it changes with pain, researchers have developed new treatments for chronic low back pain that target how the brain and central nervous system process sensory information to produce pain.

Join researchers from the McAuley Research Group at NeuRA who will discuss the latest findings about pain, its link with the brain and new approaches to reducing back pain by targeting the brain, specifically for those with chronic low back pain.

FREE — EVERYONE WELCOME
