Avant Garde Ball, a major fund and awareness raising event for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, is set to take Sydney by storm in September. This spectacular event is part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to increase survival rates of a disease which claims the lives of 1200 Australians every year.

To be staged at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park on Saturday 15 September 2018, Avant Garde Ball will combine culinary exploration, unconventional couture and award-winning performance for one incredible night to raise much-needed funds and awareness to help fight brain cancer.

Guests attending Avant Garde Ball will be entertained by two-time ARIA Award winner, Megan Washington, and popular entertainer Johnny Ruffo.

On the fashion front, style icon and regular at Paris Fashion Week, Bowie Wong, will unveil his first haute couture collection to be showcased in Australia for six years with the support of Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Australia, Edwina McCann, who is the style ambassador for the evening.

As for cuisine, celebrated chef, Christine Manfield, will be curating a delectable menu featuring three lavish courses with dishes boasting vibrant flavours and a touch of Manfield’s modern culinary edge. All ingredients for the menu will be carefully selected for their brain health and wellness properties.
