Celebrating its 30th season in 2019, the Alliance Française French Film Festival is beloved by audiences throughout the country for its passion, scope, vitality and vibrancy which encapsulates the very essence of Gallic culture.

The Festival attracts more than 170,000 attendees nationally every year, and offers a superb line-up of dramas, comedies, historical epics and tales of self-discovery via a host of premiere screenings and special events.

The 2019 programme, which features 50 incredible films and 4 documentaries, is a worthy tribute to the longevity and high standards that this event continues to meet and surpass with each passing year. The Festival opened last week in Sydney and will run until April 10.

The Festival will take place in five locations: Palace Verona and Chauvel Cinema in Paddington, Palace Norton St Leichhardt, Palace Central in Chippendale as well as Hayden Orpheum in Cremorne, in addition to a special selection from the line-up screening at Avoca Beach (22-27 March)and Parramatta Riverside Theatres (28-31 March).
