Fri 22 Jan
Every  Week on Friday until Mon 22 Feb 2021
Throughout the summer season, ‘Friday Night Live’ will showcase a line-up of Sydney’s best vocalists who have been established and playing together for over 15 years. They just love what they do – and you will too! Friday Night Live playing all your favourite hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and Today.

Starting Friday 4 December with the soul funk-inspired Maybelle and Benny (Maybelle seen on ‘The Voice 2014’ and was known for her amazing soulful voice), through to the 18th December with Hounga from Suite Az. Other performances will include alternative vibe of Leroy and Andro.

In conjunction with the City of Sydney’s initiative for outdoor dining, Pumphouse has launched the Pumphouse Courtyard an extension onto the Darling Square forecourt. The perfect place to listen to the new live music and relax with a craft beer or with our latest cocktail creation in-partnership with Disney’s Frozen the Musical the “Frozen Cosmo”.

To complete your experience at The Pumphouse Sydney Bar & Restaurant, executive chef Timothy Goddard and his team have created a range of food, suited to accompany any of your drinks preference. The concept of the menu has been inspired by the Pumphouse's rich history, fusing good Australian pub grub with American influence to keep you satisfied.

To celebrate the launch of Friday Night Live, Pumphouse Sydney is offering the following specials:

Pizza and Sofi Spritz carafe for $39

$1 beer with your order of any schnitzel

The Pumphouse was built back in 1891 as a pumping station for the Sydney & Suburban Hydraulic Power Company as part of Sydney's power infrastructure – this was long before electricity provided most of our power needs.

Saved from demolition by the Heritage Council of New South Wales, the building was restored to become the Pumphouse Tavern, owned and operated by the Tank Stream Brewing Company, and selling craft beer at the tavern made by the company at their brewery. The original Thunderbolt Strong Ale, a feature of the old Pumphouse Brewery and Tavern, continues to be brewed to its original recipe exclusively for Pumphouse Bar & Restaurant.

Situated in the heart of Darling Harbour with the bar just next door to International Convention Centre Sydney and The Exchange, in Darling Square, Pumphouse is the perfect spot to enjoy after work or weekend dinner and drinks with friends.
