When:
Sat 17 Feb 2024
Cost:
Free
Details:
Serenade is an exhibit of experimental, approachable and heartfelt games, highlighting and celebrating the community that makes them. The event will feature a games showcase exhibiting an eclectic selection of mostly locally made works that demonstrate the breadth of ingenuity and experimentation in the space, getting you to move, feel and reimagine games and the art of making them.

Alongside the showcase, we will also host several micro-talks by local game makers that will dig into the art of game making and cultivating creative communities. This is an opportunity to discover local artists, gain new perspectives around game making and connect to a community of experimental game makers.

Serenade aims to be a community space to hang out in and will feature a curated selection of music throughout the day and later in the night we’ll have a live DJ to keep the vibes going!

Serenade acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation and the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land of which we operate.

We pay respect to their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded, and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
