When:
Wed 19 Mar 2025
Cost:
From $37.83 to $133.33
Details:
Join two of classical music’s finest artists in an evening of unbridled virtuosity, as Australia’s favourite immersive concert series, Live at Yours, presents the highly-anticipated Australian debut of Vienna Philharmonic’s youngest ever concertmaster, Yamen Saadi, alongside legendary pianist Simon
Tedeschi on March 19 in heart of Sydney at The Great.
Come and see the 27-year-old Nazareth-born violinist perform miniature masterpieces by Austrian American composer Fritz Kreisler and Edvard Grieg on Kreisler’s original 1734 Stradivari violin.
Described by The Berliner Morgenpost as possessing a truly “beguiling sound”, Saadi has performed as a soloist with the world’s most prestigious orchestras from the Staatskapelle Berlin and Chamber Orchestra of Europe, to the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, Saadi was announced as the youngest ever concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 25, after holding the same position with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra since his teenage years.
Yamen will be joined on stage by one of Australia’s most renowned classical pianists, Simon Tedeschi, who has performed in major concert halls and for festivals throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, and for world leaders including former US President George W. Bush and the Dalai
Lama.
This unforgettable event will take place in Sydney for one night only. Get your tickets now!
