It’s the Fete with a Porpoise at Bourke St Public School, Surry Hills — and we mean that literally. This year’s Bourkey’s Fin-tastic Fete isn’t just about fun (although there’ll be plenty of that) — it’s fundraising with purpose. Or rather, purposes, as the beloved community event aims to raise much-needed funds to support the students, programs, and facilities of Bourke Street Public School.
Event highlights include:
– Live performances by Red Hot Chilli Parents & the Bourke Street School Choir
– Rides, games & Sideshow Alley (Big Kahuna, Bubble Planet, Disco Room + more)
– Talent Show at 12pm
– Big Top Bazaar with local market stalls
– Food & drinks from local legends including Jane, coffee carts, BBQ, fairy floss, and more
– Roving performers, face painting, Surry Hills Fire Brigade, and free bike tune-ups
